No it's not, especially when you live in Scandinavia...yesterday was just -25C. And the snow is boring, it's not the snowman/snowball making snow. It's the boring non attachable snow.
Hey, you talk for yourself, Swede. We don't get a white Christmas too often, so two years in a row would be totally awesome. Snowstorms in the south are probably bad, but hey, I don't live there, and I am not going to take public transportation in that area for the next two weeks, so it can be all good again soon. Also, for the record, I love snow. It makes the cold more tolerable, and it isn't warm.
I live in Alaska. And It snowed 3 months ago. And It hasn't reached -40 F just yet. I'm surprised it hasn't even dropped to -30 F. The coldest that I know of is -60 F.
The only thing that I don't like about winter has to be that the sun sets at about 5 or 6pm. I just checked outside and we only have 1 foot of snow. It's kinda getting lower. I'm hoping for more snow soon.
That must be really cold, woah! Did you experience it? The coldest I've ever seen was about -40F (-40C). Though the coldest I know of was about -98F (-72C), that was in some village in Siberia. And the snow there was about 100-360cm high...
Here in Sweden it has snowed even more, about 20-60cm so far.
