No snow in SC yet... Now I know the significance of "Whenever it snows, school's canceled."

It probably hasn't ever snowed up here.. I need to go down south if I want snow. By the way, I lived in Auckland, New Zealand. Wikipedia says that the only recorded snowfall here was on 27 July 1939. Yikes.

Snow is a myth here. It doesn't exist... Gotta love Florida. Reminds me of the time we ordered snow from eBay (I think). They shipped it in a big cooler with dry ice so it wouldn't melt. Good times.

Hmm.. During the height of summer, the sun sets at 8:45 in the evening or so. The further south you go, the later is sets and the earlier it rises.

Geez, that's late. Here it sets at 2.45pm and rises at 8.45am. Six hours of sunlight can't be that good...

In summertime the sun sets at ten or eleven something in the night and rises at two three in the morning, the good times.

That's a nice exaggeration of what happens here.. There isn't much land south of New Zealand though (all ocean) and Scandinavia's closer to the Arctic than New Zealand is to the Antarctic.

I'd enjoy the sky still being visible at 11 pm. Then again, I'd probably need to close off all the windows and curtains if I needed to get sleep.

I can't remember if it was eBay, but I'm pretty sure it was. It's weird to have below freezing temperatures and not see a flake of snow. Some places are warmer than here and they still get snow.

I love snow. Which is perfect for Northern Canada XD. Sadly it's been in the positive temperatures (C) so the snow has been melting a wee bit and everything is brown and gross
