Who likes the OLD Star Trek? NOT the garbage they're showing nowadays. I LOVE the old star treks. My father introduced me to them and now we are both serious trekies.
Guess I should state my preference. I like Star Trek more. Star Wars does trump ST with action, but I like the basic premise of space exploration. It's just more appealing to me than that of just action.
EXACTLY WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY! It was just to hard for me to explain it. Of course if you're in the mood for an action movie try SW. But ST just shines in it's brilliance. The whole Kirk-Spock relationship...It's just amazing! Spock provides the knowledge an statistics. Kirk takes it and finds an amazing way to save the Enterprise(or whatever their trying to save). Together they are unstoppable!
I liked the original series because of the Shatner/Nimoy duo, the decor and the monsters that were hilarious but not as bad as the ones in Lost in Space (which I loved for it's cheesiness). I also liked the Next Generation series because of Patrick Stewart. I think he made a very credible captain.
I liked ALL the movies from the Motion Picture to the latest Star Trek movie.
Also Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, and Star Trek: Insurrection. Really I think Nemesis was the weakest out of the bunch with him.
I actually only really liked Nemesis.
I love Voyager the most. Come at me. All of you. I absolutely love Janeway + Tuvok (rival Spok + Kirk IMO) and I really enjoy the whole "converted borg to crew member" and "hologram that acts human" plots :P
Although Janeway can't rival Picard, she is superior to Kirk for me :P
