.... this battle has been fought since the dawn of time... like others i have fought in this war tirelessly for years but it seems we have made little progress to an end..... wat and why u think it is better STAR WARS, STAR TREK,or LOTR.. tell me ur opinions *cough Star wars is the best. *cough cough Star wars allllll day.

Star Wars FTW! Star Wars has waaaaaaaaay more action and an awesome soundtrack. Especially in episode 1 The Phantom Menace.

I only enjoyed the original star wars series, star trek was completely boring until this new movie and LOTR is my FAVE RIT!

I like all three but I think star wars is better, it has been a huge influence on our society and has a huge extended universe.
Star trek has more movies but several of them were not well made.

LOTR beats both others together. Star Wars is on second place, I never cared for Star Trek.

Not sure I see how LOTR fits into this one SW and ST are science fiction LOTR is fantasy. It's like comparing the Harry Potter movies to Nightmare On Elm Street, they are in different genres.

Star Wars is better out of the Star Wars v. Star Trek portion. I shall not include LOTR in this because I don't think it belongs. As Mage said, it's like comparing Harry Potter to Nightmare on Elm Street. Just doesn't work.

Star Wars all the way! Star Trek was completely boring to me. LOTR was boring to me and also like Mage said you can't compare it.

Okay how can you even possibly compare Lord of the Rings to Star Wars? They're two different genres of movie! Not to mention George Lucas has screwed the series so badly it's almost beyond repair. Star Trek and Star Wars however, can be compared. I vote Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.

I pick none of the above. I find there are many better fiction stories out there that just have not been popularized like these three.

im all in for star wars!! ive watched every movie a whole bunch of times and i still watch them when i get the chance. most of my games are need for speed and star wars. well... gotta go! *pops in episode 1*

This here. I am wondering the exact same thing.
I used this example before, but: You can't compare cars and spoons just because they both shine.
LotR is not comparable to the other two movies... series... Isn't Star Trek a series (mainly), Star Wars is a set of movies, LotR is a series of books that has been made movies...
No, sorry, not making sense. I could see why you perhaps would want to compare the science fiction, set in space-franchise, but that is it.
Further more, it is not a battle that can be determined. People have opinions, and sadly, just because more people on an online forum thinks one thing is better... does not end the battle.

So, if you please: Is there any reason to keep this up? Especially since your first vote-count has been deleted because it was spam? And that you are ignoring comments because you don't like them?

2nd those comments came with "conditions" so i didnt want to "fix" this pole
3rd i want to keep this as simple friendly and easy as possible.
4th since when do two things HAVE to be ALIKE in ANY WAY AT LL to be compared...... if that is a rule then tell ALL my teachers that.
5th i am not trying anger anyone i just want a simple and CIVIL debate so plz for the love of whom ever ur deity is just vote stats ur peiece and move on with your life...
6th this is not an insult to cenere i am in no way trying to insult u so for the love of "insert deity here" do not think of this as Endscape getting beligerent again... thank u.
