I'm sure some of you know that they are being held in London (my home town) but what are your thoughts about, are you going to be there or do you not want them to be located here. Post your thoughts about it here.
The Olympics have been going on for so long, that it makes me sad to think that they may be putting non-sports into them. Like poker and Nascar and other **** like that. C'mon people, those aren't sports, I don't care what the dictionary says the definition of "sport" is. Poker and billiards are in no way an Olympic level event.
There are already poker and billiard championships so why do they put them in the Olympic games, its just ridiculous. They could use that space to put actual better sports in that don't have championships

Have you actually heard any of this **** from a primary source, or even a reputable source?
They just removed baseball from the Summer Olympics, do you think they're about to put in Poker. Gah. >.<
I can't wait for the 2012 Olympics, I hope to get down south to see some of the events. 2 points of interest though are the opening ceremony, being organised by the briiiiiilliant Danny Boyle. If anyone saw him on Top GEar the other day he gave some hints as to what will happen in the opening ceremony.... apparently we're not going to try and compete with the organisational skills of the chinese..... and there may be a man on fire riding a bike...... The other point is the football; or rather the "British" team taking part in it.... last I heard it was just English players in the team and the rest of Britain has said no :/
I'm sure they'll be held in the USA sometime, but until then you can watch it on tv. I'm going to watch the Olympics on tv because I want to go on AG as well.
I live in south east of england so I will go and see them if I can get any tickets. They keep putting the tickets up in price due to huge demand it's annoying.
