The title amy be a slight bit misleading. No one painted the world white, or anything thing of that nature, or sucked all the color in the world away through a gigantic vacum (though that seems like it could be a plot for movie)

What the thread is actually about, is the white stuff, powder (not cocaine) but snow!

I awoke this fin morning to a nice coverign of 6 inchs of snow covering the roads, and street, houses, and lawns, it was everywhere. Yes while six inches may not seem like alot, thts not all we got. The snow continued to fall throught the day, and as it snowed on, we have neared an inch, with no end in sight. We are sitting with fingers crossed awaiting a closing. (of school that is)

So what are some of your memorable snow moments?

Last year we had over three feet of snow. I dug tunnels everywhere and then made a huge snow pile, it lasted two months.

I like the powdery snow instead of the compact type where it's just ice. Playing with snow can be fun.

How big were the tunnels bacobit?

Only like a foot and a half tall and 3 feet wide, they caved in after 1 days though D=... I cried... But the igloo were in it for the long haul, after around 6 days I jumped on top of it XP

@Frank:

sounds fun :O. Though there aren't many dual-hills round here, and those that exist are either privately-owned, in a construction area, or otherwise nonexistant.

A memorable time for me was when i was playin in the snow during a blizard right outside my house and i got stuck in the snow so i was throwing snowballs at the window of my house to get someone to help me lol. It took like 20 minutes because my parents thought it was a game and the blizard made the snowballs miss alot.

One of my earliest memories is from when a particular bad blizzard set record high's in inches of snow (Don't recall exact figures). And I walked outside to snow taller then me and my parents made a labyrinth of sorts in our back yard. I remember being extremely young at the time but it's one of the few early childhood memories that has stayed with me over the years.

The oldest memory of me remembering that it snowed was probably when I was 5 or 6 years old.

I was in my mom's car and we were going somewhere. Then when we were backing out of the driveway it started to snow. Then my mom stopped the car and we played in the snow. Well, I played in the snow.
