This is the guide to the Tavern section of the forum. As it does say that 'all topics are welcome," there are still some do's and don't's.

--Rules--

1. All topics need to spark discussion.
2. If you are going to create a topic, investigate to see if the topic has already been done.
3. All "this vs. that," "RPG threads, and etc. belong in the Forum Games section.

(progress is pending)

Okay Regs, I have unstickied a lot of the topics up here. The clutter is not very nice. Right now, I only have a few rules listed. But I am going to be adding to this topic as a kind of "catch all" for the Tavern. If you feel that something needs to go in the topic, go ahead and post it here and we'll discuss if it needs to be added.

Yeah right Cen. Most necro'd threads I've seen on AG were revived haphazardly. Some turned out to be good, most rubbish. Also, I checked your FAQ. It'd be useful if the headings were bolded and the spacing for each question fixed.

Perhaps so, but then again, if no one is going to read it anyway, why care for the design?

Ah, but if you make it look better, more people will read it, and even more people will read ALL of it!

And where'd ya get a silly notion like that? We....we read it....

If no one was to read it, why make it in the first place?

Okay, I've been absent for a few days. I'm back on the horse, hopefully I can update this a bit. And quickly, I'm going to answer knight.

Some folks do read it, the REAL purpose is to have an actual reference point. Our rules are sometimes vague in the help section. With stickies we can make specific rules to send someone to when they are acting out. Basically so no one can go: "WHERE IS IT WRITTEN THAT I CAN'T MAKE A TOPIC ABOUT THIS!?"

"Right freakin' there, buddy...right there"
