you were a ranger, your grandfather a legend that died fighting off foul creatures aiming to destroy the land. The demons were after an ancient artifact, if the artifact is destroyed a power of evil that is invincible would be unleashed upon the world, your dad died killing a warlock that wanted to destroy the artifact. yeras later the artifact was found by a peasent and served him as a tax to the king, the king found the artifact and let the priests find out the artifact's prophecy, though they mis-interpreted it, telling the king the destroyer of the artifact would become invincible in strength, and so the king wanted to destroy it, though it could only be destroyed in the middle of the elf forest, a place protected by a gigantic animal guardian. He heard of you, you had a knack for making animals trust you, and in fighting monsters too, he also knew about the mark, the ranger's mark. That sacred mark passed on generation to generation in your family gives its owner an enchatment making monsters and animals alike trust you and not attack you. And so he sent you on a quest to kill the guardian, in return he promised to give you the artifact which you knew the actual prophecy of, you killed the guardian and wanted to claim your price, but the king had evil in his heart, and so he set an assasin to kill you once you were in the castle and make it look like he was trying to get the artifact too, only he didn't succed, you understood your situation quick enough.. and so you grabed the artifact, charged out the castle and rode your steed to safety, there are still assasins on your tracks, you have to finally keep the artifact safe!
you are the wanderer

the gate guys say you should also visit the tavern if you want to stay in Pan for now, also there is some nice booze oh and btw I told all players before to add
money: 50 silver anyway you head for the butcher, you find a small shop with a sign saying:
Kin'yel's meats only meats in town
the only looks written over another word with stronger ink...
you open the door and see a line of people getting ready to buy their weekly supply of meats, then there is some people at tables eating lamb chops and meat of all kinds, there is also an opening which leads straight to the eastern farm part (that you guess is the part that is in ownership of that Kin'yel whoever he is...) what do you do?
name: Simon weapon: Broadsword secondary: composite bow steed: An aligater sized centipede items:rangers mark, some water, elvish bread, artifact, map(pan) money: 50 silver
I look around the butcher shop very curiously, all the while wondering why its the only butcher shop, then i join the line and ask the person in front of me why its the only butcher shop.
"fine, but there's a trap on it that i should disarm first." then i make like I'm disarming a trap, and slip the artifact out of the bag, hopefully without him noticing.
haha Simon I can tell you read the posts Talow did, if not THEN DON'T this game has an enormous amount of secrets that I created that if other players find them and you look at their posts it pretty much spoils the game for you...
anyway you ask the next person in line "ah, there'as a problem ay't the frams of ol' Zephi and ol' myken's farms, the sheep just dis-appeared over night for some reason, real mystery, town mayo' says he'll give 50 silvers to whoever finds out what happened! Another 50 to whoever stops it!" the man replys with the familiar accent of the people in this town. Then you are called at "next one'n line!" the butcher yells at you "what'ya need fella'?"
he gives you a menu, inside you find a lot of meats such as neck ribs, loin chops, rolled breast, scrag, chump chops, preety much everything has the same price of 6 silvers a piece
"ill be 'avin three rolled breasts and two legs, and by any chance do you 'ave any sheep types fer me?" I say, trying my best to immatate their accent, still fealing like an outsider.
