Most of us know a new Mario Kart is being realesed with the 3DS in 2011. Any hopes or opinions on the previous the previous Mario Kart DS? I just hope for better graphics and tracks. The only thing I would want to stay the same is the ballon battle system. I think Mario Kart DS perfected the ballon battle system, having extra, stored ballons, but the Wii kinda ruined. I think once you run out of ballons, either one of the CPU automaticly wins, or you can drive around as a ghost and watch the fight. Opinions?
I loved battle mode, I could play for hours on end. I really do hope they significantly upgrade the graphics though, because the old ones were kinds lame. Can't wait for the new 3DS games!
I will echo removing the blue shell. It's just a cheap trick for sore losers <_< If there was a way of avoiding it (like red shells and green shells) I wouldn't mind so much. But it's just annoying as hell and requires no strategy
no, blue shells help keep the pack bunched up and not let anyone run away with the victory. I think that if they just had new tracks which weren't rubbish then i would be happy with it. It's a great game, adding to much would ruin it.
Hmm..this is on the 3DS, correct? There needs to be a "distortion" power, somewhere on 5th-8th place where you can "distort" the target(s)'s screen, where you would need to fiddle with the 3-D slider or move the screen to find the real, natural setting of the course. Get what I mean?
I also want to have the Character Items like in Double Dash. It added more complexity and variety in the game to make it more fun.
And since this is in 3-D, it would be great to have 3-D courses with objects that would pop out as you flew through it.
AND since I'm circulating ideas, I want equipable items that you can get while grabbing the item boxes. 1st place can have a chance to get a banana peel, green shell, 3 banana peels, or a rebound shield that would dispel and ricochet any items, like redshells or bombs, away from them for a set period of time. Little R.O.B. robots that would attach to the side of the car to smack cars away from you so you won't get bashed aside (great for small cars!) Maybe even an extra transformation item like Metal that would make items hurt you less. If a bomb hit you, you would fall to the ground and spin around in half the time.
I want upgraded DS wi-fi point system. Better Anti-Cheat protection. And i dont wan wii battle system. It wasnt good because there were only team fights i really wanted solo fight.
That is true. I was playing with one of my friends, he let loose a blue shell. Then I backed up and blew up 4 guys with me!! Then I got a invincible star and won! =)
