Ok so everyone that loves nintendo should know that nintendo has sold out in recent years, and I for one, am pissed off! seriosly, Imagine baby sitter? WTF? they need more good games, their called oldies but goodies for a reason, they are the only thing that is good! i dont even buy games anymore, how messed up is it that nintendo thinks they can stop making good RPGs? or how they just water down mario? it really is sad...

They just need some original but awesome ideas. This will take time but I know that they will make a comeback that will blow away the competition.
And does this need to be in the video games forum series.

I'd like to continue discussion anyway because I have something to say. I've seen that with most consoles, there are always that group of casual, commercialized and generally crappy games. Think of product tie-ins. Games made as movie tie-ins are often dismal. Also, remember that the Wii itself was made to appeal to a broader range of consumers: casual ones. Thus, you shouldn't be surprised by the presence of seemingly ridiculous games such as the one you mentioned.

While I do agree with you that these titles are cheap knock-offs, it seems that its a company's decision to do what they want with their business. The desire for profit wins out. The Wii does have some excellent titles, latform=1031&mode=all&sort=score&dlx_type=all&date_filter=all&sortdir=asc&official=all">names here. Even if they're mostly first party they are pretty good.

I understand your sentiments.. Though this approach taken by Nintendo has turned out to be a financial success. Love it or not, you could well expect them to stick with this formula. Just play the good games and ignore the crap.

Yeah finally... Donkey Kong Country: Returns, Kirby: Epic Yarn, and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Miniland Mayhem. Are awesome.

Does it occur to you that DK: Returns, is well, a remake of an old classic?

What about the people who having a babysitting game appeals to... them... Wow, what a terrible argument.

Annyyyway, I really like the M&S Olympics series, Wii Sports and Resort, SSBB, etc. There are a good variety of games for the Wii that appeal to many people.

As for the DS, I really don't want to comment. Instead of adding quality games, they add cameras and other junk.

I want SSB4 or SSBS. And I have now noticed my deck has collapsed and that's really something I should take a look at @_@ farewell~

That's hardware, not software Pazx >_>

They *could*, however, make the hardware better, so we get better sound output and better textures. Nintendo makes all these nifty little perks that other hardware can do, but forgets to make the game system aspects of a game system. If I want to use a camera, I will pick up a camera. If I want to play a game, I will pick up a DS. The Double Screen feature is excellent because it is part of the gaming experience. The camera isn't. The 3-D feature of the 3DS will also be awesome, because *gasp* it is part of the gaming experience.

Oh, and what platform has a larger and better library of games?

they add cameras and other junk.

It's the future everything will have cameras and what other junk?

But then it would be more expensive once it costs more than most console people aren't that interested. Also Nintendo hasn't been interested in graphics hardware much and is more focused on innovation.

The 3-D feature of the 3DS will also be awesome, because *gasp* it is part of the gaming experience.

Also no glasses, *gasp*. So most of us glasses wearers won't have to double up or buy expensive prescription 3D glasses.

I fail to see your point.

I didn't particularly find the ability to record and alter sounds worthwhile. Of course, it amused my brother for a period of time.

The 3-D feature of the 3DS will also be awesome, because *gasp* it is part of the gaming experience.

Win.
