There will be a Lunar Eclipse Late Monday night (tonight) or early Tuesday morning, depending where you live.

If you live in North America, you may be able to watch the moon pass under Earth's shadow. Hope for a clear sky!

...

*begins to cry*

It's been overcast for a couple days here in Houston. Hopefully I'll catch a glimpse of the big red ball in the sky!

Where I live, it has currently been raining non-stop since Friday morning and it show no sign of stopping. I don't think I will be able to see it

Hopefully I will be able to find some pictures of it though.

I can't see anything outside yet. It's 10:05PM right now. I wonder when it will come. If I don't get to see it. I really want to see the pictures.

I heard it was going to be here around midnight... and that's PST... although I assume it would be happening midnight wherever it may be.

penumbral eclipse.... think of it like a bulls eye on a target... dead center is pitch black and the next outer ring is a shade of grey... the shade of grey doesn't blot out the moon... it merely makes it noticeably darker.

partial = when blotting out starts
total = when its fully dark
greatest eclipse = as close to dead center as its going to get (still black)
total ends= the reverse of the moon getting darker and darker...beginning of the end
penumbral ends = goes from darker shade to normal

its crystal clear here in mississippi :3

Well, it seems many of us have been under a few too many clouds, myself included. If you saw it, tell us what you thought!

I checked outside in the freezing cold every hour to see if it happened. Sadly it did not. That made me a little frustrated. I really wanted to see it.
Has anyone got any pictures of it?
I want to search Google tomorrow to see if any pictures of it were uploaded.
Now though it's 6:30AM and I need some sleep.

Yeah, I stayed up until 2 AM hoping the clouds would clear so I could see the eclipse. Stupid clouds, wouldn't move just for me. Though the clouds were a nice shade of orange, lol.
