well.. i dont think its dominating the US. i think people are slowly becoming more stupid, therefore simple music pleases them. then they dont give any other kind of music a chance because the music that they listen to has dumbed them down into close mindedness. i feel as soon as people open there eyes to other forms of music, and this goes to any genre fan, then intelligence grows and oppinions DRASTICALLY change for the better. you give a justin beiber fan 20 of ELP they will fall in love i almost garentee. you give a maggot 20 minutes of nonstop Rakim, they will fall in love.

This would make an amazing poster.
I agree with most of that wall of text. People don't want to give another genre a music a chance. That just think that there genre is epic and all the rest sucks. If people had more variety I think opinions would change.
idk. when i was in middle school, i listened to alot of rock. i.e. korn, stutterfly, disturbed. im in highschool now and i pretty much listen to anything
i live in puerto rico which is a territory of the us and the music we listen here is called reggaeton which uses a dembow as a basic rithym i really like it. heres one of my favorite songs listen to it if you want and tell me what you think.

Me too. In 7th grade I was basically like "I <3 Classic Rock and all other music sucks" and then 8th grade, I was like "I <3 Classic Rock and Metallica but all other metal sucks." Then when I got into high school I was still like that, but then I slowly started listening to Eminem and Taylor Swift and other music.
