I was looking in the forge section and Actionscript Forum. Well I suggest making a subforum in their, that is purely tutorials made by flash scripters.
Simple things that many people know, but things that new people wont. It would lower the amount of 'stupid' questions, like how to make my guy move, or using hittest for lives, points, and such things.
This is a flash game site, so why can't members 'teach' it alittle bit. Armor points could be awarded to help inspire people to make them.
See, the great thing about programming is that there is no core way to do it--it can be done in a number of fashions. The only thing that limits a skilled programmer is his/her imagination and creativity. Programming is no easy feat either. It takes experience. Years of, in fact. This is something that regular stickies cannot do, no matter how long. Sure, there are threads here and there asking others to help them with small methods and loops, but you cannot seriously help someone make the game in its entirety. That's THEIR job.
