Hi, I have recently noticed that when I post comments on different forums (They're about 2 or more sentences so its not spam) I look back on my profile and see that I didn't get the points or the thing that says how many forum posts I have. I have posted on just about 20 or more different forums and still have not gotten any points. Anyone have the solution or answer to my problem?
Well you got 14 posts right now so...6 of them were probably from the Newcomer's forum or the Forum Games forum. Those do not give out AP or count towards your forum posts. The other theory is that your posts were in fact spam. Spam isn't all about length, either. It can also be noncontributory for the post to be deleted.
I would check with those two to see what happened. Other than that, my only advice for you in the future is to just simply post better. It doesn't have to be a novel, but a general "what and why" response is good enough to pass.
Frank is right, it depends on which forum you're posting in (some don't give points). The forum post count, however, should still increment, but I think we cache those values for a few minutes, so it may take a little bit to actually show up.
