Post your class schedule and say a little bit about how it runs.
My Classes: 1. AP European History 2. AP Spanish 3. AP Physics 4. AP Psychology 5. AP Statistics 6. AP Economics 7. AP Government 8. AP Chemistry
I'm taking all AP classes this year, but last year I only took five. Next year I'm taking 6 AP classes, but with a study hall class in the morning (1st and 2nd period are the only classes there available so I can do all the homework that I didn't do last night, the morning after. It's like they know what's running through our heads.)
My school has Even and Odd days. On Even days, you attend your even periods: 2, 4, 6, and 8. On Odd days, you attend your odd periods: 1, 3, 5, and 7.
On Spring semester, I have Biology 120 on Mondays and Wednesdays, Economics 201 on Mondays and Wednesdays, Chemistry 105 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Mathematics 138 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
So, I basically have two classes on Monday-Thursdays, with Fridays including my weekend break. Some of the classes, like Chemistry and Math138, have a large gap between admitting, so I have a long enough break where I can sit down, eat some good food, chat with friends, and just relax. Of course, two of my classes are "no fooling around", so I sometimes use that break period to retain what lectures cannot do.
My classes last year looked like: Blue day(4 classes a day) English Science Art Spanish
Red day(4 classes the next day) Keyboarding World studies Gym for a semester then study hall( I didn't like how they did that to me. I lost a credit with the study hall thing) Math.
This year though I do my classes on the computer. Mainly because I fell behind in some classes *coughcough*-math-*coughcough*. But this year also has 10 classes in ONE day. I dislike that. Especially since the classes are only about 30 minutes long. I liked the old way better. Were we actually learned. The classes last year were about 1 hour 30 minutes.

My school used to have 6 classes, two hours each with three classes a day. Now we have 8 classes, one and a half hours each with four classes a day. Ten classes a day seams impossible to do. How can anyone learn when half the class you're waiting for it to be over? I know the last fifteen minutes of any class, my head is already in lala land.
red day 1.computer tech 2.history of world religeon 3.physics 4.french 2
black day 1.off 2.honers core 4 3. english 11 4.off
and it interleaves between black and red days
Is computer tech computers in general, or programming? We have that at our school but the computers are so ancient. They said they would upgrade to 240 Windows 7 laptops and desktops. Half are for the teachers and the rest are for the two computer lads.
Also, what kind of physics do you take? Honors or AP? On black days, you have two free periods? Nice.

You can't learn. It takes about 5 minutes to actually do attendance then get ready for the class. And we only have 25 minutes left. We have to really rush through it. Then the teachers hand out a TON of homework to do. That's the reason why I'm doing schoolwork on my laptop this year. Hopefully next year it will be back to the old way or just updated. Most people don't like this new way. And we've complained to the principle of the school. He said he will have to see how it goes this year then he will find something better over the summer time.
Back with the old way I think it was kinda long. 1 hour and 30 minutes. I think that just 1 hour is good enough. We would just study the lesson then do our work. The last half hour though was just useless. Most people got done early and we would have to just sit there and wait for the bell to ring.
I have eight classes a day including lunch and gym, so screw you all for having less classes then me
Heh. If I would've went to actual school this year I would have 10 classes a day including lunch. With tons of homework. But I choose the less easy way. And with this way I actually learn.

What grade are you in? I'm friends with some seniors that are taking half their classes online. What they did was take all AP classes for tenth and eleventh grade. Now all they are doing is taking the Honors classes hey didn't take during tenth and eleventh grade. It takes them like a month per class.
One kid had 28 credits leaving as a junior. That's already four More than what's required. He could, if he wanted to, skip his senior year and graduate.
As a senior, he just stays home half the day taking online classes and then drives his car to school just to take AP classes. By the time he graduates, he'll have a 5.8 GPA for all of high school and 32 credits.
Well, in my school you can only take classes online during the school year if you have a 5.5 GPA higher and if you are a junior. You may take classes during the summer online, whatever your status.
That's just crazy. I don't see how you can earn so much in that time span.
I do online courses. I could finish this year if I wanted. I would have to work into the summer though. I don't think I'll do that. It will ruin the whole high school experience for me.
