I was reading an article a while ago (sorry, I cant find it anymore) and it was talking about how apple doesn't like flash and prefers html5. What does apple have against flash?
I don't have a Mac so I don't know, but Apple is no compatible with a lot of software Linux and Windows is. It usually creates its own software, but it never is as good.
Apple seems to publicly feel that Flash is 'insecure and easily exploitable - as well as slow and buggy'. Apple's private and deeper feelings about Flash aren't publicly known so we'll just have to go with what they tell the public.
Well then, take up your problem with Apple, not me. I believe you should address your complaints to Steve Jobs - It's mainly his fault that Apple shuns Flash so much.
The reason the dont support flash is because that would eliminate the whole use of the appstore, I mean if the iphone had flash there would be no point in the appstore, they wouldent make enough money.

Apple always was carful about thier privacy. But that is one thing that always comes around and bites em in da *censored*. Like they were reluctant to give out their codes for the system so no one started developing programs for them (video games mainly i think was their biggest mistake). Linux didn't have to do that because their system is and always will be for banks. But i went a little off topic.

I beg to differ. Also for hi-tech, programming, and personal use.
Still, Iphones don't support widgets, flash, and other thing Apple doesn't like and they terminate the contract if you break in to it. Much more strict rules than the android, for example. Also, Iphones are more expensive.
Well if flash worked with apple then there would be something on the i<Insert item name here> then it would be something Steve doesn't control, and we all know the problem with that.
They have CTC which got made into an iphone app.
True, but didn't it have to be written in the app language?
Guys, you are acting like there is no way to get flash. If you have a ipod 3G and a iPhone 3GS and up, you can jailbreak and get something called frash. It has full flash support with no lag.
