I never noticed that before...but I believe that squirrels are quite awesome as well.
Cats get a lot of fame though, but I really think that most of the cat photos are quite funny. (The good ones at least)

cat vids without text are still usually epic like machine gun kittie and cats gone airborne (thats not the name of the vid but the name was in chinese and almost all the cats fell off something) dogs do alot but none very funny by itself cats natrual instincs are helarius and see wat im sayin below about rabbit and squirells

and dude, i think the cat in the trash can is lol worthy. may i remind you the dog pictures have text too!? lol

without the text, one of those pictures would just be a couple of muscular dogs XD if you ask me the cats have more interesting expressions on their faces, with or without text, pretty funny.
