Well...I'm going to assume you mean the story of Noah's Ark.
Scientists have unearthed many different layers of fossils and earth. So does it mean there were many great floods such that it caused the drowning of each era of animals thus creating different fossil beds?
And great site Avorne. Enjoyed reading it. Thanks!
I believe that the flood did happen if anyone has an objection to this, please feel free to question.
And we have mitochondrial DNA, fossil evidence, geologic evidence, as well as physics, chemistry, biology, and history all saying that it did not. Where would you like me to begin?
Thank you all for your kind affirmations of the validity of the links I was posting but I feel that I must add that, until I know why exactly the OP believes in the Global Flood, they're quite hit-and-miss in debating the OP - still good arguments though.
I believe that a number of 'defenders' of the great flood claim that climates only changed to what they're like today BECAUSE of the great flood - they claim that before that, all the animals lived together in roughly the same climate.

Oh, well we can debate *this*. At however many thousands of feet they claim the flood covered, the height of the earth's atmosphere is much, MUCH taller. Actually, I don't think that even covered the top of the Troposphere! If anything, this flood would have just cooled the area slightly, the same how you pour cold water in hot tea so it wouldn't be hot.

Can someone explain to me how Noah managed to grab penguins onto his boat?
Penguins probably weren't even alive then. They are evolved from some other species. Plus, if you believe that before the ice age, the continents were together, the climate would not suit penguins, hence their non-existence.

How about how did the fish survive the change in salinity? Living out in the desert I doubt there would have been much of a chance of gathering all of them up, not to mention that would be an even bigger strain on his already overcrowded boat.

Pangea was what? 250 million years ago? Noah's ark according to creationists was roughly 4000 years ago. How does your arguement even make remote sense?

Nicely spotted, he's combining both sides of the argument! :P
