if you beg for mercy they let you live (not really but its hypothetical)if you dont you die which would you choose? i would choose die because they would probably torture you if you were alive anyway and i dont beg for things. your opinion?
They're terrorists not idiots, they're not going to kidnap a civilian, unless he or she is a military/government contractor, for information. The only reason civvies are captured is so they can be beheaded on video, essentially to cause terror.
I would beg for mercy and tell them some unimportant info of my country. Then I try to talk to the stupidest guard and in a way befriend him. When he has some confidence in me, I tell him to go to a liquor store and bring back some beer. When he's back, I tell him it's supposed to make your blood flow better in your body like how milk makes your bones stronger. When the guys drunk, I tell him to free me and I take a gun and try to sneak out without anybody noticing. And if he has a car, things would go much faster.
Of course this is hypothetical and I don't think that anybody is that stupid to not know what beer is. So I guess I just say nothing and endure the pain.
I read somewhere that reporters are told to talk about their family if they get ransommed. after some thinking, I tink that is logical, and the best thing you can do. even terrorists (and other kidnappers) have a family, and if they see you as a person, and not just something you can trade for money or prisoners, they are probably not going to kill you so fast.
not true. wen you're in a life death situation you dont think right. only a strong hearted man who's worked with the government for yrs. can maybe choose to die. only in books and movies usually would a guy die like that.
all of us if we were in that situation would live. Dont lie.
It depends on the reason they have captured you. They can choose to let you live and ask for a rescue for money, they can torture you until you say something they want or they can kill you if you don't tell the right things or for any other reason. If they let me live for a while, probably they will let me go later and receive the money, if they torture me I would ask for the death. I hate to feel pain.
How is it un-true? If you're captured by a team of terrorists with guns you're most likely not going to live. They took you for a reason and they'll kill you. Unless they're trying to negotiate something like a ransom. If the people try to save you then you probably won't die. But most likely people will die if captured by terrorists.
