Trafire casts Cure Minor Wounds on Xav, which is enough to restore him to a waking state. Her Ghoul attacks and hits her, its claws digging into her flesh. Xav awakes once more, in time to see his Ghoul slash at him with its claws. It hits, and Xav falls unconscious once more. Otihand tries to protect Xav, but he has problems of his own. The last Ghoul abandons attacking Jozan in favor of Otihand, and its claws dig deep into his flesh as it slashes at him with its talon-like claws.
Oh, and when the Ghoul slashes Otihand, he falls unconscious as well. Jozan hits the Ghoul that attacked Xav, smashing his mace into its head and splattering its brains on Xav, but killing it.
Ok, I will attempt to catch up to the other ghouls and prepare to cast hail of stone on them without hitting anyone else.

Siber once again casts Hail of Stones on the seven ghouls attacking the rest of the party. Two ghouls are unharmed, but the other five are hurt by the spell. Two are killed, leaving five more to deal with. Calethen slashes at one, cleaving it in two with ease. In fact, the strength of his blow was so great that his sword actually goes straight through the first Ghoul and cuts into one standing next to it, killing that one as well. Now only three ghouls remain.
