I agree, we need to find what the alchemist wanted, and get out. Let's start searching every single room, in an organized manner so we can finish quickly. What do you say, 2 people to each room, until we get eveything we need out of here, that work?
"I agree with the...the..." Calethen pauses for a moment, stupefied, and his face twists with confusion. "The...wizard? No, the sorcerer! No...it...it was something with worn...cage? War cage? War mage? War mage! I agree with the war mage, we should get this over as quickly as possible. But we should have some way to alert each other if something's wrong, just in case, and definitely an emergency rendezvous spot as well."
"Genius, if you didn't notice, this place is filled with traps and splitting into groups of two, what happens if both fall in or 1 is occupied while the other is hurt? I think groups of 3 or 4 would be better for safety.
"Well, there are eight of us in all," Jozan supplies, "so if we broke into two groups, there would be four per group; if we broke into three groups, there would be two or three per group; and if we broke into four groups, there would be two per group."
I only count 7, who is #8? Fel or DV's long forgotten character? Neither one of them have been playing...
Anyway, here is what Siber thinks:
I believe we should split up into groups of 2, and stay close together, searching separate rooms. In other words, we would be in the vicinity of each other doing a grid-like search of the house floor by floor. If something happens or we find something like a monster, we can reform as one party and deal with it.
Then the DM is really cruel! I know what I said this time, and I'm not taking it back, I have suspected for some time now that my actions are not my own, but are those of some idiot sitting on his "computer", typing whatever comes to mind... Ok, that is getting really old, somebody tell the idiot who does my dialogue to stop "breaking the 4th wall" please? *blank stare*...... I think I need a cure insanity cast on me, or my player needs to stop making me say these things. Seriously, stop that, this is something you would expect from DBS, but you always take things way too far! STOP MAKING ME SAY THINGS, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
.............................. *under breath* Akward.............................. Well, nevermind then! If we run into too many monsters, we run, or I could just Hail of Stone them, that's what I'm here for. I doubt we will have too much to worry about at this point, unless there is something we have missed...
