We are pirates but you can play any class you want.
The fact that we are pirates, in and of itself, limits the classes pretty badly. No lawful classes, for one. No good classes. No evil classes. We're either going to be chaotic neutral or neutral, that cuts off a **** ton of classes.

A good character wouldn't go around attacking and robbing a bunch of random innocent people...it's not possible for them to be pirates. Unless you want to go all Robin Hood, in which case evil characters are out.
