'On the good ship, Lollipop, Its just a short trip to the candy shop.'
Love me my Shirley Temple.
My problem is that once the tune gets stuck in my head, I automatically start thinking up parodies for them. Case and point, my post in the MW2 thread of the Beejee's...
(looks at thread) ROTFL! That's pretty good Maverick4! Oh, some of the most annoying songs can REALLY get stuck in your head, like Mickey, I HATE THAT SONG, but everytime I hear it, I start singing it out loud, than spend an hour groaning with the song still playing in my head.
The Mission's to fight to be free again to stand our ground and to be immortal this is our mission so here we stand we have the right to be ourselves again
Van Canto - "The Mission".... i would suggest the music video. the female vocalist, Inga Scharf, is very pretty :3
Sorry, I just thought it was creative and original, I laugh at random things, hence my nickname Hyena (only took DesertHyena because Hyena was already taken and this is my gamertag) Lol, oh I hate that song, what was it, B.O.B or I can't remember the name...
Aah this song has not removed itself from my head in weeks!
And if this is what weâve got, then what weâve got is gold Weâre shining bright and I want you, I want you to know The morningâs on itâs way, our friends all say goodbye Thereâs nowhere else to go, I hope that youâll stay the night
"Oh Mickey you're so fine! You're so fine you blow my mind! Hey Mickey! Hey Hey Hey Mickey"
Anybody recognize that accursed song? I somehow sing it when I hear it no matter what I do. It makes me want to blow my head off with a Remington shotgun. That song will control you're brain. It will eat you're soul apart.
Here's one that I actually enjoy singing.
Blue Moon, you saw me standing alone, Without a dream in my heart, Without a love of my own,
Blue moon, you knew just what I was there for, You heard me saying a prayer for, Someone I really could care for
It's an old song but I have a record for it so I can listen to it when I want.
I love Van Canto music videos because it makes it even tougher to take them seriously. :3 They're basically all a bunch of people talking in gibberish and getting really really into it, with a lot of dramatic camera angles. "reedly-deedly reedly-deedly reedly-deedly TUM TUM TUM!" etc.
Anyway, I can't help but sing the lyrics to Interstate 8 by Modest Mouse. The chorus, anyway. Same thing with the entire song The Stars are Projectors . . . . Oh, also the first section of Paranoid Android by Radiohead.

ROTFL, I know right?

I have not heard that song in a long time. That's the original by Frank Sinatra, right? I like him, but personally I prefer Gene Kelly. "Singing in the Rain", everytime it rains, I think of that song, and sometimes I go out in the rain and sing it (no umbrella and all).
I'm singing in the rain Just singing in the rain What a glorious feelin' I'm happy again I'm laughing at clouds So dark up above The sun's in my heart And I'm ready for love Let the stormy clouds chase Everyone from the place Come on with the rain I've a smile on my face I walk down the lane With a happy refrain Just singin', Singin' in the rain
Dancin' in the rain Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah I'm happy again! I'm singin' and dancin' in the rain!
The original was made by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart in 1934. Frank Sinatra did a cover on it. But I like Frank Sinatra's version better. I like Gene Kelly also.
Oh oh oh, also Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall, the duet between the Ink Spots and Ella Fitzgerald. Love the Ink Spots, and Ella is fantastic in the song.

Man Ella was freaking amazing in "Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall". I love how The Ink Spots start all their songs with the same lick.
