Welcome all Exit Pathers! This is a designated topic to have all types of convos about Exit Path. One of the purposes of this topic is to keep all conversational-type comments away from the game comments and have them here.
I disagree, I don't think it is the best. And I would like to know why this level comes up so frequently and other levels barely come up..
Why don't you like it? The other levels must not come up because it's how the game was made. All I play are the longer levels. I like the longer maps because there's more room to do tricks and practice thus making it the best. I don't like those little 4-10 second levels.
I think marathon was the main Multiplayer Map, It has a little bit of everything in it that prepares you for other maps. And like Matrix stated I like also like longer maps for more tricz and practice for other maps. Theres always more to be found I think.
Marathon has only 2-3 seconds more than the 10 sec maps.
If you race seriously. I take it you didn't read my entire post. Let me reiterate it for you. A level like Marathon you can do whatever you want in that big of space and don't get bored easily. Same with Maze. But with other levels you have to finish the race quickly sine there's not much space to do tricks and practice.
Many people on Exit Path are Grandmasters, however that doesn't matter. That's the highest the ranking currently goes and anyone with 102,500 experience points can get to it then gloat about being one. Most level 41's that I've played are terrible at the game and don't even deserve the rank. It's why I think in Exit Path 2 the rank should be limitless.
Oh man, Exit Path. This game has drained so many hours of many of my days. I absolutely love this game! Heck, it's what got me to join this site. (By the way, hi everyone.)
Even though it's pretty common to be one as commented on by the previous post, I still am happy to be a "Grandmaster" with all the achievements and whatnot. I agree, though - I wish I could go a lot further with the rankings.
The fact that there's going to be a sequel sounds fantastic. Can't wait! If it's better than this one... I'm gonna be in heaven. Even though I'll die in it a lot. :P

Yes. Also, you would get certain ways to gain more experience or to lose experience. For example: If you win a level against a high ranked opponent you get much experience. If you win against a low level player you get little to none experience. If you lose you lost experience, if you die you lose experience; if you die a lot then you lose more than before. etc. . . Just an idea.

Yes that would be nice, but I doubt it would happen like that. A limitless ranking system would just lead to problems. And even so the current ranking system is kind of limitless because there is no limit to the amount of XP you can gain.
The other levels must not come up because it's how the game was made.
Well either that or there is some sort of issue with the randomization of levels (which can happen with complex algorithms) that causes it to come up way more than it should.
That makes me sad, because everyone will notice that I'm a noob XD Um, John, since you are here, can you tell us if the maps are completely random or some have more odds to come? A lot of people have been wondering that.
In my opinion, that will be an exotic but great idea. If Exit Path had a map editor and a lobby, the game would be living for a very long amount of time. I'd just like to see how limitless ranks works.

I know I told you on Xat, but since I'm posting, why no restate it? :P
Losing experience will be discouraging to people who doesn't think very positively. Your XP idea is great, but it would be better if you just gain very little experience when you're last place, or when you die. For example, if you die 5x, you gain 1 XP. If you come last place, you get 3 XP.
So I'd like to ask: How will the XP system work John? Will it be still the same as Exit Path 1?
