For me, I prefer WASD keys even if im right handed, why you ask? In shooting games, you need the mouse to aim and I use my domanant hand to aim, and my left hand for the WASD keys. And I got used to WASD keys so now I use it more often than Arrow keys

actually,on querty-keyboards the WASD digits form the same cross pattern as the arrow digits,but on azerty-keyboards the WASD combination is quite useless and it's a big disadvantage for right handed users.
You have to use WASD if you play a game that requires using mouse as well except you are left-handed or there is no enough space on the table to play with arrows and mouse at the same time.
Well, personally I'm left-handed, so if I were to use the arrow keys with my current mouse location, it would be awkward and uncomfortable, plus if any keys (1-9) had to be used in-game I wouldn't be able to reach them (I'm also on a laptop so I don't have a number pad unless I hold down the FN key).
I use WASD because I do the movement in games with my left hand and any othe controls with my right hand also the arrow keys on my keyboard are really annoying to use
I used to play games with arrow keys, so that's what i used then. However, I soon moved on to games that required a mouse and a spacebar, rendering the arrow keys useless compared to the wasd keys. Now, I've been playing games with wasd as long as there is an option for it, i dont tend to play with the arrow keys anymore, unless I am playing an RTS game with hotkeys.
If mouse required, WASD. If keyboard alone, Arrows.
WASD is used for the right-handed when a mouse is involved because then they can control the mouse better. However, they can have better control with the arrows if only keyboard.
Opposite for left-handed people.
Arrows are so popular due to the fact of more right-handed people in the world over left-handed ones.
