hey maverick: thanks! I always have to explain to my dutch friends that I am for both germany and the netherlands, and if a world cup is coming, I like to drive them crazy by saying what I am going to do if germany overcomes the netherlands... well yes.
so: in dutch competition: FC twente. in german competition: VFL wolfsburg.
both underdogs, both won the competition not so long ago. I really feel sorry for feyenoord.
I have to support my heritage. Even if I only watch a few games a year, its with the German Nationals. Haven't seen any games recently though. Rather hard to find them on my television.
like the Bears they almost made to the superbowl but the stupid packers beast them. i also like USA.

no offence of course. but have you noticed that every other post is about football, and not about american footbal? it's called soccer in the US. (and the US really got ripped of at the last world cup... no offence either, I just like it if a country that winns often in sports loses.)
I think the author should have been more specific about the thread. I mean he should have put "soccer" because it is how Americans say. My favorite teams are Manchester United, Bayer Leverkusen, Barcelona, Milan and Atletico Mineiro (Brazil).
