What types of food are in you're country? Or what are you're favorite foods from other countries? The meal I think has the craziest name in England is Chicken Tikka Masala. I've never tried it though.

I enjoy dining on bloody calf brains over here in this place that I do not know the name of.

Hmmm... the favorite food from my country would be feijoada. But my favorite food would be a steak and some potato chips.

I just made myself a hot dog and cheddar omelet. I think that counts as American?

Maybe.

A hot dog and cheddar omelet?
That's...unique.

Well, I'm in America, but the thing is that most of our "American" foods have been assimilated from other cultures. Take pizza, for instance. That's from Italy, isn't it?
Anyway, I really do enjoy ham and pineapple pizza(I don't see pineapple on pizza anywhere but the U.S.), and although I'm not a big fan of the All-American apple pie, I'll eat a banana cream pie for sure.
As for other foods, I enjoy a good beef bulgogi with jap jae(Korean...bulgogi is like marinated short ribs, jap jae are like noodles but tastier) every once in a while. Kap-bi-ssan, ku-ro-na ma-sit-nun.

There is where i'm from.
I enjoy most chinese food generally (the real stuff, not the crap take-away from the local restaurant) but I'm also a major fan of red meats and fish. And potato.

BACON DUDE HOW AmERICAN IS THAT?

....Where do I even begin?! Go look up the origins of pigs. Just because you see bacon in your local store doesn't mean that's where the pig species originated.

I just made myself a peanut butter & jelly sandwich and some macaroni and cheese.
Sounds American to me.

Nope. Macaroni are Italian. And, just to let you know, the right word is maccheroni and it's plural. The singular word is maccherone.

...in England is Chicken Tikka Masala

Chicken Tikka Masala is an Indian curry. The UK has a large Indian and Arabic population, so that's hardly surprising.

In most major capital cities in Australia, you can get just about anything from any country. None of your watered-down crap that passes for international cuisine, and none of that ridiculous hunting around for some shop in the middle of nowhere (though those still remain the real finds!) Except produce prices might be a little on the pricey side for now since half the arable land in the country just got flooded...

Just because you see bacon in your local store doesn't mean that's where the pig species originated.

But I'm guessing that the habit of eating a side of bacon with just about anything is largely an American one.

I know.
Most food in America though comes from other nations.

That's how you say it in Italian.
In English it's just Macaroni.

I couldn't say what 'American' food could be.
I would have to say hamburger even though it started off in Germany many Germans made their way here and made the food known to others.

You could argue that stuff that originated from cattle ranches is distinctly American. In fact, most of the Southern cuisine. Like Prairie Oysters.

I don't know any unique American foods, except maybe Fortune Cookies. Yes, they ARE an American food.

I do know my favorite foreign food I've tried is Escargot. Or, in other words, snails. Delicious!

Well, being in Texas, especially South Texas, every other place to eat is a type of Mexican food. There are several different varieties. We eat breakfast taquitos every morning, carne guisada in the PM.

I did just eat Tacos al Carbon con lima, habenero y cilantro. Yum!

I suppose Mexican is my favorite food. When I lived in MS, I loved the southern food like fried catfish, fried everything. But you can't really get that stuff here. We have a few chain American restaurants, but even our typical fast food restaurants are different from the rest of the US.

Example, at our Dairy Queen, there are mostly tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, etc.
