Bought 'The Sun' Newspaper the other day. For non-UK residents 'The Sun' is notorious for 'Page 3' Girls, and only people such as myself who prefer to look at pictures of the news (and half-topless females) as well as sporting news buy.
Anyway, one of the stories i read was a short input on Britain's youngest grandad at the age of JUST 29!
Not sure how your 'mericans see that, but for us in England, you don't find many stories like that everyday.
The short-story on it basically depicted that he was --
"A jobless scrounger, who had a daughter at 14. Now his daughter is following in his footsteps"
This is not as 'shocking' as other news articles but it's interesting from the viewpoint of this is our NEXT generation. Will our grandchildren be having Children before they even leave primary school next?

True although since one is unique in ones own way. Since no one is unique in the exact same way, wierd and normal dont exist, being as though none are the same.
It doesn't really surprise me to be honest, I've known girls who act perfectly decent, smart as hell, and they decided to go have some fun. It happens in all ages, although the trend of hitting puberty at younger and younger ages is slightly worrying. I'm no doctor, but if we're starting to mature much faster couldn't it mean that our life spans are shortening?

depends on the reasoning behind the maturing... as far as I know its b/c of increased levels of hormones and other chemicals used to make the foods we eat (animals/plants) grow faster.
all this tells me is that the flushing of young children w/ these levels of hormones and chemicals have always had the potential to mature this fast... they just don't secrete/produce these chemicals at those levels naturally at those ages.
