Is this thread possibly in relation to the big ol' winter storm that's gonna beat us up tomorrow? Because I live in the country and it's beating me up now. I'm so American, I charged up my laptop and my DS to make sure I have stuff to do when I get bored.
And with that, I've always considered riding on the snow more magical (WTH IS SNOW MOOBLING). I got this nifty sled that, when you pull up, scrapes the ground so you "break" and slow down. I had to fully test my skills one time when I went extreme sledding in Montana. They gots mountains. They gots mountains.
I think I like water the best, but since I live in the prairie region of Canada(Alberta) I need to go to Hawaii or the east coast. But my dad has conferences in Hawaii once a year so we get to go a lot! =)
yes frank snow moobling. thats how we say it here in colorado.
i prefer the pavement, i longboard.
its like this, unless you live near a beach, then everything else costs ALOT of money, for snow, you got to pay for lift tickets, passes, all that junk. for water sports you need a boat. and i mean come on land is everywhere to crave up on. theres only so many coast lines that are actually worth surfing on. or so many lakes. you can use any street.
i prefer the water and yipee the strom is killin us with freezing rain and snow....though never have rlly been to anywhere close to where i could surf...want to
pavement. but maybe that's only because in this country we have water, but no waves. we have snow, but no mountains. we have woods, but they are small. well, you can stil mountainbike trough the hills, and cicle on the bycicle lanes that are almost everywhere.
Dirt. There are ramps and stuff around near my place. Too bad I'm moving and there's some stuck up mod who felt like deleting my other post.
Don't complain. They'll hate you for it, trust me.
I'm all for the pavement. Of course, I'm biased seeing as I have been skate boarding for 5-ish years. I've always wanted to try surfing, which would be intresting, due to my fear of the ocean....
