Man, who skips a line in the anthem? But give her a break. The halftime show was even worse. The only good thing about it was Slash and his guitar, but of course Fergie had to ruin "Sweet child 'o mine".
No, the anthem was much worse. I don't like the Black Eyed Peas, but I do think they are a pretty good group. The problem was that the sound guy didn't turn the music up loud enough. I didn't expect them to be spectacular, but the show would have been fairly enjoyable if you could hear the music.
I don't really care that she forgot a line to the anthem. Guess what, I don't even remember it. I know, she should remember it if she's going to sing it, but it's a simple mistake.
Now, her voice on the other hand... She absolutely slaughtered the anthem. I didn't even notice she was singing it until it was halfway finished. I couldn't really understand her, then again I didn't try to. I tried to block out her horrid voice.
I don't mind if people add some of their personal touch to it, but I hate it when they try to change the style completely.
When your performing the national anthem in front of 60,000 people and another 100 million are watching on tv you should probably practice enough that you know how it goes
I hate it when people don't sing the National Anthem how it is ment to be. Sing the notes how they were written, instead of messing with it and making it sound like crap. Also, slash was the only good part of the halftime show, but I could barely hear the guitar. And I laughed how Fergie was all over him xD
Ya i agree slash was cool but all i could hear was fergie so it wasnt all that great...O and did anyone see fergies little bump on her stomach ...... PREGNANT!!!!
