i never in my life have played minecraft. i didnt even know what it was until a nerd at school was playing it in the computer lab. watching him dig up trees with a dead cow was enough minecraft for me.the graphics suck and it has no story. its like the opposite of legos. legos are way cooler than this game!!and i am pretty sure that there is no star wars in minecraft!!

You could make an X-wing if you wanted to. And what he was using was leather probably. The graphics are meant to be blockish, but that just makes it amusing, and from a distance you can have very detailed things.
I've been a fan of Minecraft since i found out about it years back. My brother says the graphics suck. I'd disagree. The game is ment to look like that and i have no dissapointments about saying this. It is a truly revolutionary game for the entire gaming community. I recomend(If you have the time and endurance of mind to create anything) you to play mindcraft to test your skills.

Wow. Do you really believe that graphics make a game? Look at wurm online, minecraft's predecessor with beautiful graphics. it never won a single award. Minecraft won 6 various awards including game of the year.
it's a brilliant game, but i have yet to encounter any slimes or spawners :P i havent tried multiplayer yet, either; i don't know any servers to join :'(

Uh...no you can't. You could build something that looks like a Helicopter, but it wouldn't move. So unless you're playing a mod, nope, you're dead wrong.

i THINK there is a mod you can do that with, i think its something like the "lane mod" or something along those lines, but in normal minecraft the only controllable mount is the boat, all of the other ones are just in mods.
btw, has anyone herd of the "iston mod" its SOOOOOO amazing! look on youtube for videos of it, its just incredible! they even sed that there considering putting it in the game in a future update, i realllllyyyyyy hope they do.
Finally bought a copy of Minecraft for myself. Although it might take about a week before I get to play it properly since the laptop I'm using can barely run the game, it's certainly one less thing to worry about.

If anyone thinks that the graphics suck, you're wrong. I've seen HD texture packs and they make AMAZING graphics, but it doesnt look very well for MC, poor quality is better qualtiy
