Omg!!! i just recently got Minecraft. I love how its constiantly changing. i do wish, however, that there was a little more point to the game. It is not rewarding at all. I play for an hour just to get a few diamonds the start the whole process over again. For what? noone really cares and a diamond isnt really worth anything. i just like making stuff

there's not supposed to be a point to the game, that's the point!
Minecraft is a creativity toy that just happens to contain monsters, and frankly i cant think of a better way to inprove a creativity toy its like en etch a sketch where every now a again space invaders drop down from above and lefty nob and rightly nob half to put aside there differences so that they can live to twiddle another day
that a quote from a Zero punctuation video(witch are rated M for mature(in my opinion) so if your below 16 or so i suggest you probably shouldn't watch them), but any way i like the quote, i think its rather funny, and it is minecraft related and KINDA has to do with what you wer saying badgamer.
DDX, if I hadn't bought Minecraft and I saw that video, I would get the game in a second. That's how awesome it is.

Hm. Those things do sound pretty awesome. But I like to play as is, without mods. Maybe I'll try mods in the future, but I like it without mods right now.

i would love to play with mods, but im slightly technologically challenged and the directions for downloading them confuse me,but on a different note, i think i might have sed this before in the thread(but i don't feel like looking through it right now), have any of you try ed the piston mod? its looks SOOOOOOO amazing the things people have made with it just blow my mind, i want to get it but especially since 1.5 is coming out soon(yay weather!!!!!) i think ill just wait, plus notch has sed that he might include the pistons in the actual game soon, hears hoping!
omg cant wait for 1.5, if you haven't heard, there's going to be: weather(snow, rain and lightning), there fixing the water back to the way it was(i think), there are now going to booster tracks so we can stop using the glitchy ones, its also sed that if the booster tracks are not receiving power from redstone they will boost, and if they ARE receiving power they act as breaks(there supposedly going to be made with gold somehow), and one more AWESOME thing, if lightning would happen to hit a pig, the pig turns into a zombie pigman, so this is going to be one of the best updates yet! oh yeah, and they have finished the achievements and stats, so there going to be in here, cant wait!!!!
Let me tell you: Minecraft is just a world made of square's and it really is nothing so what you do is: You take a piece of wood and create planks Start building or collecting other matterials Once you've done this you can't stop playing it
