Minecraft-- The game of placing 3D blocks equivalent to 1 sq meter (yeah I calculated :P) to create anything you can imagine using several special kinds of blocks. The two modes, Creative, in which you have unlmited blocks to build with, but not as many as Beta, in which you must survive by mining, woodcutting, farming, running from zombies, skeletons, and a devishly handsome creature known as the creeper, which explodes upon reaching the player. Beta can only be bought whilst Creative is free. The servers, places where many players can play at once, are also diffrent. The Creative servers are listed on the Minecraft.net homepage while Beta servers must be reached via IP adress. Beta is called Beta because it is the main game that is being developed and will reach completion sometime in Fall of 2011 Cough*November*cough.

That is correct. The original release date was going to be 11/11/11, but the building they were going to use for the MineCraft Con was booked that day. So, they decided to release it a week after that (if I am not mistaken).

Average height of a person rounded to a simple measure ment. The average height for people are a like 1 3/4 meters tall (Males anyways) Your character is 2 blocks tall. The only measurement that makes sense is 1 meter, or 3 feet if you prefer that.
minecraft is a great game,i like the multiplay the best because the single player gets a bit boring arfter a while but its still good to test new things on.

You should tell your cousin that you can change the graphics by getting texture packs. A good one is JohnSmith's texture pack.
omg omg omg i saw a pink sheepie on my single player game file and its freakin awesome! now i have seen everything... oh wait no i havent! i forgot to mention that i also fought and killed a spider jockey on a multiplayer server! also i havent seen a slime yet >8( i hope i see one in the near future considering the amount of huge caverns there are on the seed worstseedever...
Minecraft sounds like a good game i really want it, I have terraria which is really fun it costs 10 dollars, I have a psp version of minecraft called lamecraft theres no multiplayer and all you can do is build but still its pretty fun.
Minecraft is the most amazing game there is. I just created a private server with just me and a couple friends and we are finishing up our town everyday. It is a great game and it is still becoming more popular.
