We have worlds for both. I choose the world based on what the players want to do, and i put the server up on demand. Sometimes i leave it up overnight if the others want it. So, Direct Answer: Both Survival and Creative.
aether mod ftw! even tho i get the WORST possible portal locations... first portal: tiny island with one tree second portal(new world): bronze dungeon boss room. yah. i have terrible luck.
My friends and I just downloaded the Buildcraft mod. It is amazing! You can create automatic crafting factories, automated building machines, and so much more! I highly recommend getting it, if you love Minecraft.
The Aether mod creates a world in the sky that you can access by building a portal out of glowstone, instead of obsidian. It has hills and islands, and if you fall off the edge, you land back in the real map (but the falling damage kinda kills you :P ). Oh, there are special enemies and objects, too.
