The negatives of Minecraft that I can think of (with the solutions that fix them): Bad/pretty basic graphics (this can be fixed though by installing texture packs - there are even HD texture packs out there that look really stunning) It can be pretty time consuming to build things (this generally only applies when you're just starting out in the game - once you get a decent pickaxe and some good equipment you can generally set yourself up with a lot of materials pretty easily) The game can be difficult (there's an option to change the difficulty to 'Peaceful' which gets rid of the harmful mobs like creepers or skeletons) The game crashes a lot sometimes (new releases usually patch up bugs and crashes but, if you wanna be extra safe, you can always back up your save files in case it does crash) No easy-access multiplayer (there are lots of lists of minecraft servers out there where you can play with other players)
I seriously wish that multiplayer would be completed so that it would be easier to join a server. What I really want is to easily make a server of my own (cause I have no idea how to. Seems WAY too complicated).

There are mods that let you spawn items so that you dont have to collect them yourself (such as Too Many Items). Or in multiplayer you can usually spawn items by typing: /give (name) (item id) (amount)
You'll have to put in a request to join my hamachi network first, which you haven't done yet, so i suggest you oook up how to get hamachi. I can help if you can't find any tutorials.
My friends want to install Industrial Craft on the server... What does anyone think? Anyone played it? Is it any good? We already have two mods: the airplane mod and BuildCraft. I wonder if too many mods would slow the server...?
Everything about that is incorrect. hamachi itself is a small program, and isn't going to slow your computer down. Hamachi minecraft servers tend to be laggy because hamachi minecraft servers are almost ALWAYS hosted from home on not-particularly-great computers. Basically, hamachi has nothing to do with the lag, it's just the conditions it's used with tend to have lag.

Industrialcraft and buildcraft work WONDERS together. combined, you can do nearly anything technological. industrialcrafts adds solder power, nuclear energy, and a whole lot of other stuff. However, if this is a server hosted from home, i doubt that it will be able to support all 3 mods without lag, but it depends on your computer. I say, go for it, if you think your computer can handle it without lag.

Already joined it, but nobody was online. So I leave the networks that I haven't played on, as to not waste space.
Hamachi is dangerous too. the way that hamachi works means that anyone could hack into your computer. thats why i ditched hamachi.\\
ALL the users of the hamachi (on the same server of course) can browse your computer files or what not... i dont know if you guys know it :P but for those who dont ..lol :P
