Rather than to have all of my ideas disseminated among the forums, I've decided to assert my coming back to Ag with a brand new thread dedicated to blend my perceptions together. Here, you'll find my pencil art - mostly uploaded and contained in another thread -, my writings and all the such things that gravitates around those, like poetry for example.
Here's my first work for this thread; it was very quickly done, as are most of my English writings. I hope it proves to be good in the end, as I haven't really thought about how it would unfold.
Of a treaty on idealism 1
It starts out as a speck of the infinite firmament, and steadily, it comes down, pounding like the stream of a river against the soaked wood of a waterwheel. Aglow despite being yet alive, it gives an unravelling feeling of warmth and comfort that shakes the cosmos to its inermost core; the universe is as any womb. Without any trace of sentience, it is somehow driven to the edges of reality by a superlative force, like the baby that forcefully crawls its way to escape the uterus, only moving by life's sheer compellin quality. You'd say that its of no interest whatsoever my bureaucratic friend, until it is of any pragmatic use of course. But isn't it the very principle of imagination to create what is not needed? Reason, reflexes and instincts are not part of this magnificent mechanism; they are the components of what we call ''survival''. It's idealism that will save the world! Like the flesh that is given life by means unnecessary for self-survival; so the idea makes its way to the door of the brain without being of any use to pragmatic life, yet it saves the world...
I like sharks! Especially when it's drawn by someone as skilled as you. I also agree with the others when they say that you can have a future in art, whatever medium you may choose.
Thank you! The shark drawing's really not that much of a work though, only a ten minute drawing, but I'll be sure to upload it for you. It is meant to be a great white shark but what I really did was only just draw a killer fish out of memory alone. Saw glimpses of some documentary on animal planet and thought it'd be something great to draw.
On anther topic now, I started another kind of work to which I'm totally new; I'll be trying to fill a whole page with fantastic landscapes. The project's starting great so I'm eager to see how it'll come out. Stay right on the edge of those seats!!
