the games that inspired me the most are also the colour my... series. still there are other games too. kolmiam was inspiring for me because of the feeling it gave me. amea was really inspiring too. and some of the games here that have the bad graphics too like "where we remain", "never look back" and "i fell in love with the majesty of colours". there are many other games i found inspiring but i cant remember all of them. usually those are games that are simple in first sight but then you discover that in the simple graphic/storyline etc. there is something really deep and meaningfull.
Thanks for the quick reply bluerabbit! Great suggestions, I've played them myself and I agree with you that they all give you a feeling when going through them.

Yeah, I found that quite a theme with most of the inspiring games I've played too.
So let's continue this topic, why not post your favourite inspiring game for us to hear?
Ok, here it comes... Echoes:Operation stranglehold was inspirising game, since it has really nice story, good idea and just AWESOME grafic details! You can compere it with some videogames as well, since its so great
Colony awesome way to make a flash strategy game:usually you cant control your units in flash strategy games, and thats dull imo.
Raze Deathmatch game which has story, what isnt "become deathmatch champion".
There are first games what I thing insiprising me.
yes i do remember immortall and every day the same dream and coma. they were great. immortall made me really sad and when you think about it it had such simple sound and graphics. coma was like... a shock. i cant remember exactly everything but i remember it made me feel so... weird... but in a good way. and when i woke up in coma i was staring at the screen for a few minutes.
Many of the games you have named already I have had this experience with, such as the color my... series, coma, and Imortall. I also feel that the game "loved" was uplifting, or at least provoked some thought. It made me think that is telling something you love to do something really love or control? Also uplifting was don't look back. I don't know why for this game, but it was. Finally, the gateway click escape series. It isn't on AG, but it points out that some will go to great lengths to control their children.
lol. anyway i just played the gateway games. that was really deep and inspiring and i really recomend it to everyone who likes deep games. there are 2 games in the series. the one isnt really deep and has no story but the 2nd is awsome and even alittle creepy. again, a deep game that has a very simple graphic.
an inspiring game is canabalt...it was a simple "one button game" and it was a major succes that opened the door for many other great one button genre games
