Are we loving or dreading Valentine's Day this year?
I'm personally avoiding it like the plague. Which is a little ironic seeing as I have something like the flu at the moment and I feel like I have the plague. My parents each have special evenings planned with their partners, my friends are all out with their partners, there's even some inter-colleague dating going on at work. I'm just hoping I wake up feeling worse tomorrow so I can ditch college and spend time wrapped up on the sofa with Johnny Depp DVD after Johnny Depp DVD. And ice-cream. Lots of ice-cream.
Do what I do every year, try and take ove....ignore a useless and deluded holiday that is shoved into everyone's faces so that companies especially chocolate ones can sell child labor made chocolate.

Lol^^ good to see I'm not the only one who is aware of the Valentine conspiracy
I love Valentine's Day. One time, I got four girls to go over to my house. Nothing happened, but the sweet smell of their perfumes aroused my nose and some other thing. Plus, you get hugs like nonstop. I got two flowers, and sent like twenty flowers and boxes of chocolates. Plus, everyone is in a happy mood.
Jess pops in briefly and posts this!? Whatever happened to the mania associated with Valentine's Day?
So my Mom and Dad got to spend an evening together, as it was both Valentine's Day and their anniversary. So who was left to defend the fort? Me and my very own special someone. It sends a much better message to cook your own food and decorate instead of going out anyway. And we also did something which I would never do with someone else, not even with another me, which was feed each other candy hearts after reading what the message was. Lesse here....wow! One and a half pounds of sugar. I'm going to feel this one in the morning.....
Well, about a week before V-day I realised that I wouldn't have a specific Valentine, so I decided to gift the whole year level.
What I actually did was organise with a few other guys to make small cards, each with a personalised message starting with 'I like your' or 'I like the way you,' and then placed them in each girl of my year's locker before school.
I also got a heart chocolate for each of them, which was placed in their locker too. (Note that none of the lockers have locks on them)
It was nice to see the reactions from the girls, I got a few hugs and quite a few comments of 'That's so sweet!' etc...and I just felt happy to be able to do something nice for all the girls in my year which I have been at school with for at least 4 years.
On Valentine's day I just went to the movies with a friend and then she came back with me and we hanged out for a while. We just talked about things. I suppose it was a fun day. I love how I get a lot of things on Valentine's day.

In this Valentine's Day I did absolutely nothing because it is not celebrated in my country. Maybe in June I can celebrate it (it is on June 12) and I would probably go out with some friends.
