I don't get why people don't like it. I myself am a Green Day fan. I do not care about this "Old Green Day" "New Green Day" stuff. I like all of their music. The first time I heard a single song from 21CBD(Except 21 Guns) was live. I had no idea they even had 21CBD as an album. But I liked all the songs. I also liked all the songs they played from. Nimrod, Warning, Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, and American Idiot.

I don't care for this thing that Green Day changed and that the 21CBD album sucked. I like the songs the album and of the previous albums, especially American Idiot. My favorite songs would be American Idiot, Holiday and Wake me Up when September Ends.
I used to listen to Green Day a lot, now I'm more of a metal fan
I used to listen a lot too but nowadays I listen less but I don't like Metal that much.
Nice song choices. I am more of a fan of Homecoming, Jesus of Suburbia, Give Me Novocaine, and American Idiot. The only time I listen to Wake Me Up When September Ends is when I play it on the drums.
I quite like their album Dookie, well, it's the only one I have really listened to. My favourite of it being She. 21 Guns, heard it once, is also a nice song of another album. Apart from that I don't really know them. I use to listen to Dookie when driving a bike^^

no its not the whole old greenday vs new greenday. american idiot isnt that old lol it came out in what? 2005? not that long ago really. i love that album to death, jesus of suburbia is on my top 5 favorite songs of all time. but the 21'st century breakdown album was pretty much made to make money, not that its a bad thing to make money or nothing, but it defeats the purpose of making music. music is supposed to come through your soul. your not supposed to make music for money, your supposed to make money for music. you feel me?
that album was complete pop generic crap in my oppinion.
The only way I found out about greenday was looking through my dads old albums(might not be the best ideal way of finding out good songs but it made me like more songs) and that was were I found my 2 favourite songs-"When September Ends" and "American Idiot".
Also, some bands change their sound sometimes and then go back to their original sound a bit. It is like they need a break from the same stuff.
i know that but i mean. its still bad lol they put probably 0 to little effort in the writing of the album. they pretty much didnt try with there instruments at all. like american idiot he goes off on drums and in this its like lame
