I love some of there older stuff those songs had a message and a bit of hidden love in them. There new ones i dont really like when a band singings about poltical issues but thats not saying i dont like any of there newer stuff. Jesus of sub was fantaisc
Ikr. was it because of it length or how the song developed and kind of formed a story throughout the American Idiot album? If you liked the change in it and didn't mind the length. Try out Homecoming off the same album. It is similar to Jesus of Suburbia but different.
Ok ya got me there. It did seem like an effortless album and it reminds me of when someone turns in some crappy paper in school and the teacher is like, "You could do better Billie," or "I have seen you do better Mike reach your full potential."

all the songs off that album were great. i think the only one i didnt really care for when september ends and even that song i dont "hate". not like the stuff off of 21st century breakdown. like when i first heard know your enemy i was like.... what the hell i this crap greenday! you already have enough of a hate following your just going to make it worse!

It is like that with Blvd and extrodinary girl for me. The first time I heard know your enemy was live so I guess ya had to hear it live first to like it.
