Vacation is for people who want to waste money. A walk in the park or a brisk jog is fine for me. Occasionaly I go to the mountains in my area, about a 30 minute drive away.
Harvard Debate Tournament is this weekend, so thats my 'vacation'. 3 days of stress, debate, and beeting my head against a wall. O! Joy.
A fun vacation that I have been on was to the Hawaiian Island, Maui. It is so cool up there! Our resort was literally on the beach, walk outside to the pool and bar/food area being on the beach sand was neat. To self- Hmm should i swim in the pool or snorkel in the ocean today self?- The luau (is that how you spell it) was really interesting. There was this really cool area on I think the northeastern side where the ocean cared into the rock. When it is high tide, the water shoots up into the air through the rock and you would get soaked! Also, Maui is both more civilized then you would think, but also laid-back. It's like a big city back on the mainland, but peaceful. You good go shopping for stuff to BBQ, then at night have your BBQ on the beach having a blast. Maui was just an awesome vacation. Oh and by the way there was this city called Lahaina that is awesome! Good restaurants, beaustiful, perfect!
the wildest vacation i ever had was when i went to baltimore. we went to a baseball and had an awesome time partying in the stands when baltimore won on the last hit
You don't need a lot of money for a nice vacation. Lets say if I go to Miami for a week or two. It'll take about a day to drive down there and with the car we use it has a high MPG. So it wouldn't require much gas money.
A nice vacation for me would to go down to Miami and enjoy the scenery and beaches.
Totally awesome (and chaotic) vacation I went to, complete with pics! I'm not suggesting to redirect there or anything, but that thread details what hectic vacation I myself went through! Take 8 people and cram them into an RV. Take them from Indiana, cross into Canada from Montana, then travel straight into Alaska. You couldn't possibly enjoy the entire vacation unless you were a masochist. The whole trip was one and a half months long and it was filled with excitement, but with annoyances and real life trolling.
Hmm I've had fun over the years on vacations. Lets see summer school advanced credit, summer school advanced credit, summer school advanced credit, summer semester and summer semester. Weee so much fun! But seriously when I think of the word vacation I don't draw from experience.
I don't have so much special vacations but one day in the 2009 Summer Vacation I went to a water park with 10 friends to celebrate something and we had a lot of fun.
