While Julian Assange is currently facing extradition to Sweden over alleged **** charges, debate is still raging about whether this is politically motivated, or whether this is a serious charge against the Wikileaks founder?
What are your opinions? Not only about the current case, but about Wikileaks in general? Do you think that Wikileaks is, as they say, keeping governments open? Or is Wikileaks a criminal organization? Maybe your opinion lies somewhere inbetween?

Clearly Arab nations that are largely at war with America would support wikileaks meaning, as a last resort, Assange could seek refuge there.
I also see Britian's decision not to extradite Assange to Sweden as a small show of support and, as we all know, the UK has a large influence over European politics.
He also has the support of Journalists world wide. and in addition to that he has the support of prominant American libertarian Ron Paul

If you receive or buy property that you know or have reason to believe is stolen, you have committed the crime of receiving stolen property. Knowledge that the property his stolen may be implied by the circumstances, for example, buying goods out of the trunk of an automobile or for a price that is unreasonably low. In most states, receiving stolen property is a felony if the value of the property received is more than $100 and a misdemeanor if the value is $100 or less.

Actually, I got sidetracked into talking about that, but what I was referring to before, is that Assange can be charged with receiving stolen property.
