Let's try Eragon for one. Not to mention Harry Potter 3 and 4, and parts of 6.

So in school we read the book The Call of The Wild. I learned that the "classic" was a bunch of chapters of animal abuse and violence. Then we saw the movie to follow up and the movie had next to no violence compared to the book and a bunch of stuff was taken out and pointless scenes were added.

The Bourne movies. They are nothing like the books.

The Princess Bride

And the biggest one of all: Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

I think the Harry Potter movies don't have a lot of things that are in the book and some things they add aren't even in the book.

I was going to say 'Eragon', but Wolf took it. Instead i'll say the lord of the rings. I knw that there was a lot of the same stuff (and I like both anyway) but it was so different because I suppose it had to be for the movies.

Haha Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Totally took out half the characters, moved about everything around, skipped all the best parts. For cryin out loud in the book he fought the god of war and won. You did not even see him in the movie one time. what the eff?

My Sister's Keeper. Completely different. I almost cried just because they changed it so much.

Definitely Percy Jackson and the Olympians, everybody was taken out, and they skipped many scenes.

Let's try Eragon for one.

This was probably the worst movie based on a book evah. Its the reason I no longer read books and watch the movies.

I completely agree, Commander.I love reading and watching the movies, but sometimes the movies just mess the book up so much...

that movie scared me away from the books, i had already read the first two and i have no intention of finishing the series right now. I got Eragon (movie) for my birthday and have watched it maybe once, i might watch it again sometime, hmmm

The book Watchmen was the best book ever but the movie left out everything that was in the story except parts of the basic plot.
