So in school we read the book The Call of The Wild. I learned that the "classic" was a bunch of chapters of animal abuse and violence. Then we saw the movie to follow up and the movie had next to no violence compared to the book and a bunch of stuff was taken out and pointless scenes were added.
I was going to say 'Eragon', but Wolf took it. Instead i'll say the lord of the rings. I knw that there was a lot of the same stuff (and I like both anyway) but it was so different because I suppose it had to be for the movies.
Haha Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Totally took out half the characters, moved about everything around, skipped all the best parts. For cryin out loud in the book he fought the god of war and won. You did not even see him in the movie one time. what the eff?
Its the reason I no longer read books and watch the movies.
that movie scared me away from the books, i had already read the first two and i have no intention of finishing the series right now. I got Eragon (movie) for my birthday and have watched it maybe once, i might watch it again sometime, hmmm
