It's finally here!

http://armorgames.com/play/10317/gemcraft-labyrinth

I'm loving it so far. The map is much better than the previous games, and I love all the new battle options.

Angering

Look at multipliers - x4 from skill, x4.55 ingame. At this wave i summoned 85k additional mana just for killing. Spend 5610. 80k pure profit.
Also i have mana trap.

gives me 1135 mana per hit. More monsters summoned = more mana.

Giants even better. 305k mana for 5,5k used.

Thank you very much for replying folks, I will go try the speed hack soon
I do not know too much about one-person-made games, but check out games such as JMTB02 games and bunny invasion.

There's no need for a speed hack in GCL, the game has an active pause mode...

@Gez: Now we use speedhack to speed it up. (from 3,333m monsters till wave 1337)

@ifju: How do you use speedhack?

@ademmeda: Speedhack is a feature of Cheat Engine software. You just select a process to turn up it's speed.

I think that the levelcap should be re-instated. After a couple of hundred levels the game gets to easy.

@Snoddas: Your problem will be resolved by removing the hp cap on endurance.

Nah, it won't one reason is that I don't have premium and the other is that no mather how much hp they will have you will probably still be able to level up you gems crazy-high before they will have that much HP. The problem is that after a while your mana will be infinite, espacially with the latest update with the auto mana pool thingy, in my last pylon game my mana pool was somewhere around 90 millions and the multiplier about a thousand and it filled up as soon as any monster came near my gems.

My level is somewhere between 650 and 700 and there isn't really challenging anymore, I just play for fun. I don't know at what level some of the guys playing this game are at but I guess a couple of thousand atleast. At level 1000 you will have atleast 9000 skillpoints, if you just uppgrade the popular gems everything to max you still will have enough to get an really big manapool at start and alot of extra damage and your manamultiplier will be big aswell.

After some closer check on the score board 1000 is not enough I guess. 2 billion in EXP will get rough calculations somewhere between 30 and 40 thousand levels. (might be way to high since I just took top exp/my own*my levels) Anyway, it will be to many points to divide. And I don't count all the Amulets and apparationkills and what not.

So in order to make the game hard take back the level cap and remove the HP cap and we might have a challange. And mayby remove the auto extend manapool. But that is not nessecary since you just press M all the time.

Sorry if it is a little bit confusing, I am tired and don't have english as first language.

What if the Pylon's summoning multiplier becomes removed, because the developer will find it some kind of cheating?
Will you still able to reach your high levels?

That would be an excellent choice by the developer. Since if you read my last post I say that it is a problem wiht the high levels. I was about level 250 before I started to test the Pylon summoning thingy, even then the game was quite easy.

And another thing is that it would take away somewhat of the gains you have as a premium as it is already way over powered compared to the non premium users.

@Snoddas:
If hp cap becomes removed too, there will be many unique stages waiting to be beaten their endurances for the highest scores.
That will be enough challenge for me/hcplayers till the next Gemcraft release, regardless of the thousands of wizard levels. Probably GC2 will be better optimised, but current system definitely will not be changed at this point.

Without premium you can target about x50 multiplier on each map. it looks like at premium you can start endurance, get some battle amulets (grade 6 gem,2 shrines, 10 towers, 50-60 summons gembomb orb and get no monster reach) so easily x100(x50 settings, x2 amulets). You will never be so high level as premium.
Also i think about this:
if we take all multipliers with endurance, max will be something about 14000?
so, if we choose +20 waves, we get summon multiplier instead endurance. to exceed 14000 we need summon multiplier 59,5 (+20 option gives more than endurance).
it means that you must summon 2294 monster per each monster. (average giants 1-4, so on x4 it means (4+24)/2 =14*2294=31212 per wave) Um. Forget about this

Just think - if endurance multiplier start from 0, it's wrong. A little.
also 1-4 x4 = (4+16)/2=10, but still 22940 monsters
