maybe its you xbox because mine doesnt freeze when that happens

It's your your console or your disk is scratched.
It has nothing to do with the game itself.

I can play it for hours and it doesn't freeze.

GhostOfMatrix, it depends what console your using.People I know(watch one youtube)don't show any signs of lag in there gameplay.And really, theres over like 1,000,000 on Black Ops and they all have a scratched disk or Xbox.Sorry to say but I totally disagree with you.

It takes a minute switching from the multilayer lobby to the main lobby. You just have to let your system do its thing.

You need to have patience.Black Ops has had lots of complaints about lagging and so on so your not the only one.It was actually on the news.

well modern warfare 2 is better anyway. So just get that.
