Hey everyone, I made this topic because I was searching for a place to talk about morrowind. I searched like 8 pages back and did not find the thread. I recently downloaded this game, I have never tried it before and think it is amazing!

Its fun to cheat on that game when you have nothing better to do... me and my friend made about 6000000 health potions (the kind that gives you temporarily more health.. not the kind that heal you) and when they wore off we died... we also taped down buttons to increase the speed.. we came back an hour later and tried to move... it went to a loading screen :P

Morrowind is far superior to Oblivion. Sadly I never revisited Morrowind, but it was much more inspired and fresh than Oblivion.

This.

Oblivion just didn't have that frontier adventure feeling like Morrowind did. I can't really explain all of it, but there was just so much in Morrowind that Oblivion doesn't have. Sure, the animations were horrible, but no one really should care about that.

I played oblivion and modded it and much more, but I dont think it feels the same for some odd reason that I cannot really explain lol.

Morrowing was such a fuller world. Oblivions engine was amazing.

If you want the best of both worlds I know of a mod called Morroblivion.

Its Morrowind with the oblivion engine

I think its in beta and have not tried it yet but this thread reminded me of it and now I have a much faster computer I will try it and let peepz know what its like.

Since it was released in 2002., i played at least 200 hours on it, completing it many times ( 1 time in less than 10min !!! )
And I scouted everywhere, killed everything, did lots of quests and all i can say - time well spent. PS. Oblivion have better graphic, voice over, and it is fun, but lets face it:
Obilivion is Morrowind for Dummies. Why? everything is far to simple in Oblivion, for example : in Oblivion you have one type of lockpick, in morrowind 5+ types !!! I'm just saying/......
