Only if you want the nation to be run by someone interested in money over everything else. The guys a businessman fer gawd sake. Dont we have enough businessmen and women in politics already (i.e. pretty much all of them)

Actually no. Most are educated in law, not business. Realistically speaking, a country is simply a very large business, especially a nation built upon a free market economy. I say we need more businessmen and less lawyers in office.

Never! Let the evil jerk be president? He'd blow he country up!

Why do you think that? Care to elaborate?

I read the article an I think he has some good ideas, so I havent decided yet but I think he can make good president

Well, I'm not conservative republican, so I dont believe in his ideas. But you might, but even if i did, I dont think he's cut out to be pres. He has no real experience.

Well that might be a good idea for right now, with the economy a piece of **** and everything.

I belive he is not cut out to be president, even if he does have some good ideas. I think he is just power crazy right now.

I didn't know he was actually serious about it. Still, it makes sense. A Free-Market Country, in an economic crisis, it makes sense for a business man to run the nation. Like MrWalker said, the US is essentially just a very, very big business.

Plus, he'd be hard pressed to do worse than our current President...

I'm a pretty left guy, but I would actually look forward to Donald Trump being President. Actually, I would look forward to any Republican who supports universal healthcare. He can help bridge the gap between Democrats and Republicans. Republicans might vote in favour of universal healthcare because the head honcho Republican is in favour it.

True, but he really doesn't have to do much.

neither does obama

Obama was the former Senator of Illinois twice and during his time, Illinois prospered very much actually.

What the holy *#^%... In my opinion, he would make a very bad president. He has no legal experience whatsoever. A large portion of previous presidents were lawyers by occupation. Really though, its like putting Schwarzenegger in the Oval Office. It is in my firm belief that someone should be president only if he has had previous legal experience.

donald trump has expirience... if I vote I want someone who is reliable with background expirience with this kind of stuff. he knows what he is doing and he can definently get this country into shape. In this day and age I would vote for donald trump over any other candidate, he will be trying (what do you think his moto is?) and he will most likely push this country into shape, it's been going downhill with to much freedom (teens with to much freedom get in trouble then they mate and their children are stupid just like them) this is why the U.S.A. is going down hill... that much freedom isn't necassary. THAT is why I think he should be president.

Maybe as a businessman, but I have seen nothing related to the law in his career.

California has the fifth largest economy in the world because of Schwarzenegger.

You don't need to know the law. The presidency is a popularity contest. To be a successful President you need the Congress and the People to support you. Being smart has nothing to do with it, nor does experience.

All you need to do is just know what the people want to hear and use that to your advantage to pass laws.

Really? I mean, seriously? Are you kidding me?

He is a mixed bag. There are some views of his I agree with and some that I am absolutely against. I really hope he doesn't run. But if he does run, I am absolutely certain he will win.
