The release is due for the sixth here in north America; just how eager are you to try those new pokemons?
Who will you choose, what are your apprehensions, which pokemon appeals you, we want to hear it all. I personnaly have a thing for the water starter this time around; a thing that had not happened since that good old totodile.
I'm getting White, mostly because Zekrom is cooler than Reshiram. I haven't really played Pokemon for a while, but I'll probably get addicted to it again now.
I just bought Black so now I have both. When is it that you can transfer heartgold pokemons on the new gen games? Because I have a perfectly breeded Breloom and Milotic I'd like to transfer ASAP. By perfectly breeded, I mean with a nature, Iv an Evs set to optimize the pokemons battle efficiency. My breloom has a 31 attack Iv, and is breeded so to have spore in his movepool.
me i never have a specific taste for starter cuz in red i chose charmander in silver i chose totadile for emerald treeko for diamond i chose turtwig its all about the usefullness of each one
Yeah, I tend to let them go when they reach their final evolution, starters aren't that usefull really. I took the water for my white version and I'll get snivy for the black, because, you know, no one wants the stupid pig.
Fire starters have just gone to the crappers these last generations. Blaziken was freaking awesome; but a monkey with his brain on fire, and now a pig with a flaming stache!?
i have the pig... because i dont really like snivy (smugleaf :P) and i dont like oshawatt (wotter :P)... im really liking black and white so far... except the names... i really dont like a lot of the names. the best games are still the original RBY... and in second place i would put the pearl/diamond/platinum series... i really liked those
i think pearl and diamond wrecked a lot of the pokemon by adding way to many evolutions to pokemon that were in red/blue/green/yellow it was okay in silver/gold but seriously in 4 games after the original no most ppl have forgoten them by then so it just kinda wrecked it and the only reason i bought diamond was because i got it for free with my ds (i bought it off my friend and he gave me 2 free games so i took diamond and ranger its an okay game but mainly just to get manaphy) they should have stopped for me at emerald/ruby/saphire most say its sucked but i loved it mainly cuz it was my first one then i got the red for gba then along the way i found some of my cousins old yellow red blue gold silver for the old brick game boy so i then played those on the gameboy and my gamecube only problem was that gold and silver wouldnt save so i could only beat the first gym

I hated Ru/Sa/Em so much for it's intolerable, jagged storyline, boy; playing them was almost frustrating. Plus, what can be a botter with pokemon is all those little things they try to implement like the Dive system for example, just how annoying was the dive HM!

Seriously? Well, color me surprised! I mean, even though I can understand people saying they're not as cool as other starters, you prefer the pig to both of them!? I think their last evolutions looks awesome, while the pig is just...meh... Looks like a barrel with a flaming beard.
