Ill agree infernape was ugly but I love the pig.
I also never understood the hate on R/S/E. I had R and E and loved them both. Its hard for me not to like these games though.

I don't really think Black/White are all that good...the new pokemon are sort of jokes...almost like they just took all the previous ones, tossed em in a blender, renamed em and changed their type, and there you go. They all look really ugly too in my opinion.

I just wish that they'd make all the games into one, increase the max level and let you play through the whole thing and be able to get every pokemon, instead of having to go through all this trouble to trade them between games, have events to get certain legendaries, and retrain 2000 different pokemon because they can't link the regions together. HG/SS is good, but you can rush through it too fast because they have the level peak at 100 and try to cover two areas with those, which leads to the first Elite 4 having level 30-40 pokemon...

Im actually not gonna get these. usually whenever they have a new game bcuz a new region is out, they'll make a better one a few months later. imma just wait for that. My guess is its called Pokemon Gray(bcuz black+white=gray)

Well, while I'll agree there're horrifyingly disgusting pokemon out there, I think every gen had it's load of hideous ones, and this one doesn't have more than any other. Did we all forget the horror of Ludicolo, Luvdisc, DUSTOX!!!

Yes, the names are bad, but I think that this generation has a big diversity advantage over the some others; I think Ru/Sa/Em had like, three or four fire types (Including the starter's evolutionnary line) and a crapload of normal. I also think that the pokemons counted for much towards my hate of this gen. I'm actually quite happy about how original these one came out, I mean, now we have Bug/Lightning, Ghosts matched up with a lot of other types without them being stupid rotoms, even Grass/Steel or Dark/Fighting, how can this not be utterly cool!?

And as for the look, you can't deny the coolness of pokemons like Gigalith, Braviary, Haxorus, Jaroda, Scolipede, Etc... (I even took a personnal liking to Eelektros)

Even though they're reusable, when you buy them they cost like 5 times more. But you can get a ton of money from the things in the abyssal ruins so it pretty much balances itself out.

I love the game now that I got it, I cant keep it down at all. Favorite Pokemon is definitely Munna

I think the new games are awesome. Not all of the pokemon are stupid you know...I despise generation 1 elitists. My 10 favorites in no particular order are:
