So, what do you think about Cardian? I personally liked it a lot eventough it's hard to coordinate after a while because you just get too many cards.
My strategy: 10 gold mines 3 iron mines 3 crystal mines 2 sacred pacts 2 dwarven mines
Some siege engines, portal growth and very important: repairs!
If you know, you have repais somewhere in your deck, you can afford to lose 90 lives at the beginning and you can invest all your money in mines and new cards until you have a gold income of ~30. Once you are that far it comes to your combination of summons, I went for:
4 Epics (you normally can't afford more) - Necromancer, McNeely, Taylana, Demon Knight 8 Ranged attackers (ascended archers are nice if you don't need crystals for anything else, the fire warden is imo the best card in game) 3 lancer 2 scout/runner-types 8 creeps (peasants or similar)
You can easily crush the enemies portal with a load of creeps + fire warden/necromancer, but most of the time you should try to keep creeps and rangers balanced (6:1) and use meelees for defense only.
This game needs to be MP! And it should last longer...
Has anyone yet gathered 10 siege engines? Seems like a straight forward tactic.^^
Finally someone who is even more dedicated than me. How many legendary cards do you have uthief? (I have only 143^^), do you buy rare decks, legendarys or the big booster packages?
I've been playing Hidden Dimensions for the 2nd time lately and for some reason I've become totally hooked. I blame Cardian for reminding me of another card based flash game...
Actually, I recycle most of my legendary cards. A few of them are useful, but many of them are too complicated to bring out.
I actually had about 7 or so Itashi cards at a time (Recycling a majority of my other legendary cards), since I was a huge fan of the Protector series; but after a while, I just recycled him as well since his cost is too high for his true battlefield worth.
Since I have an almost instant win deck, if Undefined ever updates it, I can just grind for gold rather quickly, and then make whatever deck I need. I had planned to build a deck full of Snipers for the fun of it, but now it's gotten a bit dull.
I also don't get the reference with Taylana the Swift; I think it sounds familiar, but I can't quite remember why. :P
Also, I buy the big boosters. The legendary packs aren't worth it, since you get 1 card worth 100 strips.
But, if you buy a big, you're almost guaranteed to get a legendary anyhow (Some of the 20 card packs sometimes went up to 3 or 4 legendary cards in one pull!), and the strip recycle value is guaranteed to get cards worth above 200 strips.
Actually, the expected value of legendary cards out of big boosters is just above 0.8 (32 out of 38 at my current statistic, haven't documented it before). Do you really recycle cards? I mean, I have around 2.5k cards to recycle and that's quite some work...
Nope! I just recycle my rarer ones for quick strips. A lot of the rare cards are still terrible to use, so I have no qualms on trashing those.
As for the commons, I leave those; I feel as if they aren't worth my clicking time, lol. But I do hope Undefined makes a stacking option, and so that we can trash a whole stack at a time. Though it seems he's probably finished with any more updating on this game
I've wrecked one or two legs too, but buying cards still is annoying as hell, especially if you buy the strip redeemer packs. Currently I'm only buying legendary packs, cause I need more boons.^^ My deck works with 9 boons, 4 coin purses, 2 reapers bounty, 4 barbarians - 32 seconds and you win.
A deck with 10 Siege Engines and 22 Boons may be quicker than 10 Boons and 4 Barbarians, but the second has absolutley no downsides - you can let an automated clicking tool do all the work while you have to think with the Siege-Deck.
